Message In A Bottle Invitation
Challenge
To design invitations for a couple getting married on a tall-ship under sail on the San Francisco Bay.
Execution
The invitation consisted of a mailing box covered in vintage travel stickers. When opened, a corked bottle with the invitation inside sat on a bed of straw. The invitation, printed on parchment paper, was a replica of one of the first printed maps of California depicting it as an island. Also, in the box was a parchment folder that contained the important details as well as a vintage–style RSVP postcard..
